Graduates from our Continuing Care Assistant Certificate program have secured roles such as:

  • Continuing Care Assistant

  • Occupational Therapist Assistant

  • Home Support Worker

  • Personal Support Worker

Pathway Opportunities

Becoming a Continuing Care Assistant is the first step toward a fulfilling and meaningful career in healthcare. Many of our graduates continue their journey by advancing to Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) roles, using their CCA foundation as a strong stepping stone toward long-term career growth.

What Our Students Say About OICC

Bora Nam

Bora Nam | CCA Program Graduate

"I had an amazing and efficient time learning and growing at Oxford. I especially liked the out-of-the classroom learning experiences such as visiting a museum to see the exhibition for human bodies, cooking classes for home care etc. Most importantly, I think the placements were my favourite part till date, because they brought me into contact with the people I always aspired to help."

Janiecel

Janiecel | CCA Program Graduate

"I would recommend the CCA program because of its comprehensive curriculum, practical experience through co-op placements and the supportive learning environment."

Emmanuel

Emmanuel | CCA Program Graduate

"I graduated with the CCA certificate from my beloved institution in Halifax and have had several positive experiences at Oxford International Career Colleges (OICC). I do want to highlight the kindness of good teachers at OICC - Halifax who stand/stood with us mothers to us not just instructors. The school itself was like a second home to me and laid good and strong foundational knowledge for my future life and career."
